Concrete Slab & Foundation Work
Build your structure on a solid foundation designed to last and support your investment for decades.

Why Your Foundation Matters Most
Everything sits on your foundation. If it's not done right, nothing above it will be right either. Walls crack, doors stick, floors slope, and you end up spending thousands trying to fix problems that started at ground level. That's why foundation work demands precision and experience.
In Florida, we deal with sandy soil, high water tables, and dramatic weather swings. Your foundation has to account for all of it. We handle soil testing, proper compaction, correct reinforcement, and precise leveling. These steps take time and expertise, but they're the difference between a foundation that lasts and one that causes problems.
Whether you're building a new home, adding a garage, or constructing a shed or workshop, the foundation determines how well your structure performs. We build foundations for residential and commercial projects throughout Town n Country, always following engineered specifications and local building codes.
- •Engineered to handle Florida soil conditions and weather
- •Proper drainage systems to prevent water accumulation
- •Steel reinforcement for maximum strength and stability
- •Level, square, and built to exact specifications
Types of Foundations We Install
Different structures need different foundation types. We install the right foundation for your project based on soil conditions, building size, and local requirements.
Monolithic Slab Foundations
This is the most common foundation type in Florida. We pour the foundation and slab together in one piece, creating a solid base for your building. The edges are thicker to support walls, and the interior slab provides your floor. It's fast to install, cost-effective, and works well in our climate because there's no crawl space where moisture can accumulate.
Stem Wall Foundations
When you need elevation or have sloping ground, a stem wall foundation raises your building above grade. We pour footings first, then build concrete walls on top, and finally pour the slab. This design provides better drainage, easier access to plumbing, and works on sites where the ground isn't level.
Garage and Outbuilding Slabs
Detached garages, workshops, and storage buildings need proper foundations too. We pour slabs that handle vehicle weight and equipment loads. Proper thickness, reinforcement, and drainage ensure your outbuilding sits on a solid, level base that won't settle or crack. We can also install epoxy coatings for garage floors that need extra durability and easy cleaning.
The Foundation Installation Process
Foundation work follows a specific sequence. Skip a step or rush through it, and you compromise everything that comes after. Here's how we ensure your foundation is built right.
We start with site preparation and excavation to the required depth. The soil gets compacted and tested to ensure it can support the load. Then we install forms that define the shape and edges of your foundation. These forms must be perfectly level and square because they determine how level and square your entire building will be.
Before pouring, we place steel reinforcement according to the engineered plans. This rebar adds tensile strength to the concrete and helps prevent cracking. We also install any required plumbing, electrical conduits, or vapor barriers at this stage.
The concrete pour happens next, using the right mix design for foundation work. We level, finish, and cure the concrete properly to achieve full strength. After curing, we backfill around the foundation and ensure proper drainage slopes away from the structure. The result is a solid, level foundation ready to support your building for decades.
